Although insured, the money alone would not cover tall the rebuilding work. It was left to the All Saints Tomorrow Fund to co-ordinate an appeal to raise the outstanding funds. North Bell Tower Roof has been fabricated at ground level then craned to roof and bolted into position. Awaiting lead covering for completion.

Two bells from the USS Rodgers dated 1910 have been found in the bell tower. Launched in 1919 the USS Rodgers (DD 254) survived the First World War only to be decommissioned 1922. In 1940 the USS Rodgers was recommissioned and transferred to the Royal Navy as HMS Sherwood. Extensive service in the North Atlantic during the Second World War quickly took its toll and in 1943 HMS Sherwoord was decomissioned in Chatham docks. After being stripped of parts she was towed to the Humber, beached in shallow water and used as an aircraft target until 1945 when she was finally scrapped. How the bells (now blacken by the blaze in 2000) came to be hanging in the bell tower of All Saints Church is a mystery.
