Killby & Gayford carried out this project under the design and build form of contract over a four week period. External works were carried out during normal working hours whilst internal works involved out of hours working to ensure business as usual.

Works included:

  • Electrical and mechanical alterations.
  • Re-decoration throughout included sprayed ceilings.
  • Renovation of existing timer floors.
  • New desks, chairs, fixtures and fittings.
  • External repairs to brickwork, windows and roof from a full access scaffold erected over a busy public footpath.

Close co-ordination was required at all times to ensure disruption to the dat to day operation of the branch was minimised whilst maintaining health and safety levels for both staff and members of the public.
