8th Floor HBOS

Killby & Gayford was contracted to fit out the 8th floor of HBOS’s central London office on Old Broad Street, London. The 8th floor, known as the Junior Executive Suite, has been completely refurbished.

The works included:

• Strip out of the existing commercial space.
• Formation of new opening through the existing concrete slab to allow the installation of a new steel and glass staircase linking the 8th & 9th floors.
• Installations of new M&E systems including air conditioning, fire alarms, public announcement system, IT and data services.
• Acoustic solutions including raised floors and suspended ceilings to ensure complete privacy in meeting rooms and office suites.
• Manufacture and installation of bespoke joinery products.
• Project management for installation of prefabricated Starbucks cafe unit.
