K&G has undertaken several building alteration and refurbishment projects at the Grade II listed Westminster school. The innovative scheme is part of the School’s ongoing master plan to refurbish and extend their existing property portfolio. All of the phases were undertaken to a tight programme with particular care taken to phase all heavy operations around the school’s busy curriculum.

  • The phases involved a roof top extension to existing building to form new Housemaster’s flat.
  • Remodelling of second and third floors to create Housemaster’s accommodation.
  • Roof top extension above two buildings to form new bed studies and tutors flats.
  • Removal of existing roof structure over the Liddell’s and Hakluyt’s school
  • Restoring the original Gilbert Scott floor plan of the area
  • Demolition of a staff accommodation building in Busby’s Yard.
  • Kitchen Refurbishment £600,000
  • K&G has refurbished the kitchen and refectory area during the summer 2008 break.
