TD42: Point of Sale Cash Deposit

For many years banks and building societies have used our Point of Sale Cash Deposit box as a cost effective deterrent to violent crime against retail outlets.

This unit can be mounted at the counter or check out positions allowing the cashier to conveniently deposit excess cash, coins or accrued takings into a controlled access strong box. The content of this “strong box” can then be retrieved at close of business, or if necessary during transactions subject to a pre-set time delay (30 mins delay).

By using this system available cash at the point of sale is reduced dramatically and thus the incentive to raid the cash drawer is similarly reduced.
