In 2009 Killby & Gayford developed a new, more formalised and efficient local stakeholder engagement process to help facilities identify and anticipate status issues and produce a consistent, documented and proactive system to help drive implementation. This system has now become a required component of the HSE Management System and local stakeholder engagement plans are scored and recorded on the HSE scorecard. Health and Safety requirements are maintained through the application of in house Site Operation Manuals and associated documents, including: Company Safety Policy: Shows the commitment to Health, Safety and Environmental compliance with current legislation and identifies basic procedures and employee responsibilities. Site Operations Training Manual: Details procedures to be used and employed on site, including construction activities and the application of risk assessments, and forms the basis of discussion at our annual Health and Safety seminar. Any changes to legislation are highlighted and discussed and additional training agreed and implemented. Site Operation Procedures Manual: Provides a summary of the Site Operations Training Manual for use as a reference document by the employee and in correspondence with external parties. Site Set-Up Folder: Contains hard copy checklists and forms required by the site team to maintain compliance with company and legislative. Completed forms are then filed within the Construction Phase Health and Safety Plan part 2. Construction Phase Health and Safety Plan: |
