Roger Adcock - Non-Executive Director

Roger is a Chartered Builder being a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Building.

He has spent 40 years in the building industry predominantly managing companies who undertake work on building projects of new build, restoration and refurbishment.  Firstly qualifying as a surveyor then followed operating board appointments from aged 28.  In 1991 Roger was appointed as Group Managing Director of Mansell Ltd one of the largest private contractors in the UK with a turnover pro rata £500m at today’s values.

In 1996 Roger was invited to take the role of Managing Director of Amey Building Ltd & Amey Projects Ltd, a Nationwide Contractor with a turnover pro rata £200m at today’s values as part of Amey Plc.  Roger was also a member of the Plc Operations Executive Board.

Roger later moved back to the London market and took the position of Director of Killby & Gayford Limited. Finally leaving as Regional Managing Director for London duties in 2008 and taking the role of Non-Executive Director

Roger is also a Liveryman of The Worshipful Company of Constructors in The City and was Master of The Constructors Company in 2009. He is also a Liveryman of The Worshipful Company of Masons and a member of The Bridge Ward Club, City Livery Club and Little Ship Club.

Apart from his livery interests Roger was a member of Round Table for eighteen years leaving the RTBI organisation as National Honorary Secretary and Director of RTBI Ltd.

Recently he completed the 95 mile West Highland Way to raise funds for his personal Charity The Anthony Nolan Trust “Taking lives back from Leukemia” with whom he first became involved in 1986 and continues to offer support.
